Dear Coiffed Chaos Community,
As we welcome a new season, we’re reminded that life moves in cycles — of change, growth, stillness, and renewal. Whether you've been with us from the very beginning or recently found your way here, your presence brings intention and heart to this shared space.
Coiffed Chaos was born from the soul of Rajs Mind Body and Soul — a vision that honors every layer of our being: the mental, the physical, and the spiritual. While Raj’s is a sanctuary for holistic beauty and well-being, Coiffed Chaos is a place where we explore the deeper stories — especially the ones written in our hair.
Because hair is never just hair.
It holds memories, milestones, identity, power, pain — and so much personal truth. Through every twist, trim, loss, and rebirth, our hair mirrors the chaos and beauty of our lives.
As we move through this season, we invite you to embrace that journey — your journey — in all its forms. We’re creating space for women to share their hair stories, reflect on how their appearance and identity have evolved, and connect over the emotional and spiritual aspects of beauty.
In alignment with the mind, body, and soul philosophy that guides everything we do, we’ll be introducing more ways to nourish all three — from storytelling and guided reflection, to rituals, resources, and hand-selected offerings such as:
✨ Journals & Books – to inspire reflection, healing, and deeper self-awareness
✨ Botanical Oils & Aromatherapy – to ground and restore through scent and ritual
✨ Body & Hair Essentials – to support outer beauty with inner alignment
Whether you’re here to be seen, heard, healed — or all of the above — know this: you’re in the right place.
Thank you for being a part of Coiffed Chaos. May this season bring you peace, presence, and just the right amount of beautiful mess.
With love and gratitude,
The Coiffed Chaos Team

I have been going to Coiffed Chaos ever since I was nine years old! Now at 26, Ava continues to do a great job on my hair. After years of getting press and curls, Ava has helped my damaged hair become healthy again by keeping it natural. I often get a wet set, where the curls come out tight, moisturized and gorgeous.
Ava always makes sure my hair is ready for special occasions, even when it’s not on my usual appointment day. She has been there for me on my high school and college graduations, weddings and black-tie events.
Ava is professional and personable, and can work on a variety of hairstyles, whether it’s a wet set, perm, press and curl or braids. After almost 20 years of visiting Coiffed Chaos, Ava feels like a part of the family!

Let's get real here – our hair can be a bit of a wild ride! Every woman I know has her own unique hair saga to share, whether it's a not-so-great experience with a relaxer or a DIY experiment gone wrong. We've all had our moments of frustration and laughter when it comes to dealing with this precious part of us. I might have slipped into some technical jargon there, but the main point is this: hair can be emotionally taxing, just the thought of it can stir up chaos in our lives.
The mission of this website is to create a space where women can come together, share their experiences, and find a renewed sense of self-worth through their hair. The ultimate aim is to establish a deeper connection with your hair on a spiritual level. It doesn't matter if your hair is short or long, thick or thin, relaxed, pressed, locked, natural, weaved, or braided. Even if you opt for wigs or lace fronts, it's important to do so with a strong foundation of self-worth. Remember, you are beautiful first and foremost.
We must love and accept ourselves while expressing our unique identities, setting an example for our sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, and all the young people who cross our paths. Too many young individuals struggle with feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem, often dissatisfied with what nature has given them. It's our responsibility to guide them towards a new path of embracing and celebrating their hair. Let's embark on this journey down the winding road of Coiffed Chaos together!
